Hiatus

I have officially put all my fanwork on hiatus. All ShizNat creations will be ceased until further notice.

Things change, people change, and interests change. I'm still absolutely in love with ShizNat with all my heart but it's safe to say that I can't bring myself to write any more of it. I'm writing a few original works and for personal reasons they are priority of my fanbased work.

I've been gearing up to leave home on a little bit of an adventure. It tanks my mood at least once a day and that alone would effect the writing of my larger works like TWOY and TGG. After I get settled down I will finish both up.

As of now you might start seeing Wisteria Collections move further away from a fanfiction blog to a personal blog. Thanks for all the PMs, reviews, and emails everyone sends me every week. I'm glad I could make you all have a pleasant reading experience.

Again

There was a great stir in my land. A soft green land surrounded by hard unforgiving bister. At its heart was the sweetest liquid that glistened and never ran dry. My land was beautiful and my masters were kind. But then came the great upset. Along the masters’ wall and beneath the fig were babes who lay stiff. As their kin cried, they came to us on the green. The gray of mine became distressed but those who were young like me did not know enough to fear. “Paeniteo,” my masters whispered into each other’s ears. I pushed forth, eager to see why so many had come to the green. One of their young, about my age in knowledge and wisdom, stood in front of me. In his eyes, he reflected my same uncertainty and in his hands he held ribbons of red. “Paeniteo,” they cried louder and there was no escape for me. Ribbons decorated my body. Bloody ribbons. They did not understand. I did not understand. They sent me past the wall and off the green. So far away that I could no longer smell life or taste its sweetness in the air. I was left on the scalding bister that I had always considered a world away. I was left alone. Alone with only five colors in this world. The blue of the sky, the white of the sun, the burnish ground, the ribbons of red, and the gray of my coat. Alone I remained. I walked hours upon hours driven by instinct to find sustenance and salvation. Heat pushed my body down with the weight of the sun and on my knees I fell to the hard ground. My body began to burn at the first touch of the burning, hating land. I could not get up. The colors bled to a color I had never seen before. It was a gray grayer than my coat. I cried, trying to remember the blue of the sky, the blue of water. But all I could see was a lone red ribbon in front of me, not even the ground beneath it. “Paeniteo,” I wept and understood what it meant. Hate. Misery. Deceit. Cowardice.

Death.

After the colors went away, the burning of my flesh became cool, and the weight of the sun lifted. It was done. “Paeniteo,” I heard them laugh. The world went darker than night and colder than winter. My anger began to softly settle and a gentle hand touched my nose.

“Little lamb, forgive me. They know not what they do.”

So darlings, an update on me...

I'm sorry I haven't been able to post or update or do anything fandom-wise.  I've been busy with school and life.  Last week I took an amazing vacation to Boston for the week (spring break).  I planned on really catching up with my fanfiction but instead I really just relaxed.  A lot has been happening in my life.  I have quite a few things going on, non-school related.  I'm not sad or happy or wrecked up or anything, it's just been quite overwhelming.  I'm trying to stay away from writing until things blow over.  Unfortunately my writing is often easily influenced by my moods and events in my life so if I were to write anything write now it would be a bit chaotic.  

But!! Chapter 3 of The Greatest Gift has been released and hopefully Chapter 4 of TWOY will be released soon as well.  

I have a few more oneshots lined up to come out soon but my BETA has been a bit busy so I'm holding off on sending them to her.  If anyone enjoyed the Bribery, I will probably be posting a series of 'Wedding' Oneshots due to popular demand.  

As always, the support all of you have given me is amazing.

Fanfiction.Net Troubles

Darlings, as always I post a new chapter every week on Sunday or Monday but it is probably not meant to be this week. Yesterday I was going to release Chapter 3 of Three Wishes Or You. Ever since Saturday night I had been having difficulties signing in.

The error I recieved was the following:

"Login/submission area is currently inaccessible due to a technical glitch. We apologize for the brief inconvenience. Please come back in a few minutes."

After receiving my chapter back from my BETA I was all excited to post but the error persisted till Sunday night. While I watched the Oscars I refreshed with the hope that coming "back in a few minutes" would work. Alas, it looks like those who maintain FF.net take a break during the weekend.

I checked this morning and it still has yet to be resolved. It's slowly driving me crazy. Ahhhh, I just hope it'll be solved by tonight.

A Bunch of Updates~

As promised I released the second chapter of 'Three Wishes Or You' onto FF.net on Monday! The first chapter was a huge success. Thanks everyone :D I really enjoy reading the tons of reviews that fill my inbox.

Also, as promised, today I released 'The Greatest Gift'.
Basic Summary: Natsuki gets cursed as a dog for not being able to love. The story moves into the present day where Shizuru is a Private Investigator and she runs across Natsuki. It'll be more action-packed than my previous stories with many little subplots. Look out for other pairings as well! Chie/Aoi lovers have a little something in it for them as well.

I submitted a THIRD story this week. 'More than Chocolates and Roses' was a little thing I spun up the night before Valentine's. After reading some ShizNat Valentine stories I was compelled to write something as well. It skipped my BETAs due to time constraint so it's pretty rough. I really liked writing it!

Personal Updates:

Happy Valentine's Day everyone (yesterday). I've been on a rocky slope these last two weeks but overall I've been pretty good. School's been easy enough still so hopefully I can learn to balance my time wisely for the midterms to come!

Three Wishes or You

Hey everyone! I have published Three Wishes or You yesterday!  

Taken from Shizuru's POV, you get your supernatural romantic ShizNat twist.

Basic Summary: Shizuru runs across an enchanted tea pot and inside is Natsuki the Genie.  As cute and funny as it may sound the story is actually quite mellow.  She's given three wishes but truly it is not the wishes she needs in her life but something more.

Other Updates:

The Greatest Gift is still in progress.  3 Chapters written (none submitted).  This is the other story I plan to release on February 15th.  

There is FanArt now!  I finally decided to take a mouse, CS4, and the pen tool to my computer and pull up some fanart stuff.  Legal Stuff: I don't own the characters but I do have rights to the stuff I created.  Don't use them without my permission (which I'd totally give xD, just tell me).

Personal Updates:

Everything's been going fine and dandy kinda.  :D A few interesting and odd speedbumps along the way this week but it's been okay.  School's be great as usual and it hasn't begun to take time away from writing and art so that's a plus.

Busy Saturday Morning

So a little update on me...

School started this last week and so far I have not been bogged down with any homework.  My favorite class so far is Human Sexuality which is as every bit hilarious and crazy as it sounds.  In class work involves getting into groups and thinking of every sexual activity (and their slang) then sharing it with the class.  Righto, my group won.

Things have been going pretty well overall with two weeks in to the New Year.  

I got to see snow for the first time, the day after New Year and that was pretty exciting.  I got to play in it as well!  I'll post a couple pictures of the snowmen I made.  Unfortunately I just wasn't talented enough to make one of Natsuki or Shizuru.

Some updates on Fanfiction.

Well between New Year and this post, I have made two updates:

I've Had Enough- Finally complete!  The last chapter was actually quite difficult to squeeze out but I did it.  I have to say I'm pretty happy with the piece and I even made a couple of adoring fans out of it.  As always the story was enjoyable to write.

What! Grapes?-  This is a little one shot released before the last chapter of I've Had Enough.  It's your typical misheard conversation that has a cute ShizNat twist to it.  

On the topic of exploding grapes, I want to say that it is possible but I do not recommend it.  I did give fair warning in the fic not to try it unless you want to damage your microwave.  There are plenty of videos on the internet to satisfy your curiosity xD 

Things to look forward to!

Besides the plethora of oneshots that I have waiting on file, I have two fanfics that will run a little longer than a oneshot.

The Greatest Gift- This is going to be a long term project and I've already pushed out the fourth chapter to it.  I absolutely enjoy the plot!  The release date is scheduled for the day after Valentines (February 15th) so please look forward to that!  

A little info on it: 

Shizuru is a private Investigator and Natsuki is a _________. 

A little Chie and Aoi goodness for those of you who are deprived.  

A little bit of action, maybe some things exploding~  

A Thousand Wishes or You- Title is going to change, most likely but it'll be a paranormal romance that has been brewing in my mind for the last two months.  Originally it was a oneshot but it was going to be a ridiculously long oneshot so I've divided it up into four or five chapters.  I'm half way done with it already and I plan on releasing in on January 29th or sooner.  

Chie and Aoi- There is a serious lack of Chie/Aoi fics out there and they are a greaaaat couple.  (Chie is actually one of my favorite characters in the anime)  For your Chie/Aoi fans out there I do plan on venturing outside the realm of ShizNat to write a couple oneshots on this beautiful couple. If you have any suggestions for a plot please feel free to PM or email me.

For now I believe that is all I have to update on.  I may release another oneshot in the next three weeks depending if I can find a quick little plot to go off of.  If not, sit back and wait for the premier of The Greatest Gift and A Thousand Wishes or You.
